At Happy Plaice, we’re bringing Worcester its very first 100% vegan fish and chips experience. Born from a deep love for plant-based cooking and a passion for all things fishy (without the fish!), our mission is to serve delicious, cruelty-free meals that everyone can enjoy.

Founded by a dedicated vegan with over 12 years of experience in plant-based cooking, Happy Plaice is the result of a lifelong love for creating sustainable, cruelty-free food. Happy Plaice is more than just a food business - it's a commitment to protecting our oceans and promoting ethical eating. Our kitchen is completely vegan—every ingredient and process is free from animal products, ensuring that your meal is as ethical as it is tasty.

Operating as a dark kitchen, we don't have a storefront, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy our vegan fish and chips from the comfort of your home! You can find us exclusively on Deliveroo from October 22nd, and we’ll be serving up our delicious dishes at the Worcester Vegan Market on October 19th. After the market, we'll be popping up at select locations around Worcester, and we're available for private hire and events.

Our signature ‘fish’ is made from young jackfruit, perfectly seasoned and battered to deliver that flaky, fishy texture we all know and love. But that’s not all, we also have Tofish, Battered Redefined Meat Frankfurter and Battered Aubergine. We have something for everyone!
